Dress Code

Brothers, this year we are again going to support our local VA Hospital; it is only through the sacrifice of our veterans that we can enjoy the freedom that we have today.

Until further notice the dress code will be business casual for those who bring a donation item. Acceptable items are:

Package of Socks
Package of T-shirts
Pair of Pajama bottoms
Pair of Slippers
Toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, deodorant)
Package of Men's Underwear

Remember, they sacrificed a lot so we can be free to meet as Masons.

Tux / Suit / Jacket will be required for all degree work.

From The East

Past Masters, Officers and Brothers,

Brethren I would like to start by thanking everyone who came to the Master Mason Degree on May 28th it was exciting and

was performed in an excellent manner. RW Thomas J. Ventura, Sr., PJGW, assumed the East, RW Deputy Grand Master Richard McTheny assumed the West and PM Clayton Hewes assumed the South, it was an outstanding night thanks to all.

Brothers, it has been an exciting year, thinking back on all the great events we had, The Grand Master Visit,The Crab Feast, The Car Show, The First Responders Lunch, Movie night, The Craft Fair, The Pancake Breakfast, an All You Can Eat Ham and Oyster dinner, The 5K Run, and The Hands Only CPR Class. These events were only possible due to the hard work of all the brethren in the lodge and I want to thank you all for everything you did. All the hard work, all the donations for the VA Hospital and the SPCA. These events all had a purpose, most raised money for our cause, some gave back to the community. We were able to make generous donations to the VA Hospital, SPCA, First Responders and the Cancer Society of Delaware.

We had Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft and Master Mason Degrees, with two Past Masters Raising their sons to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. We welcomed the brothers of Christiana Lodge #35 into our Lodge. I can't think of a better year. Thank you all.

At our Stated Communication June 11th we will be nominating the Elected Officers of St. John's Lodge No 2. If you are interested in joining the officer line or have questions about it, please come out and talk to a lodge officer. It was my Honor to serve as Master of St. John's Lodge this year.

Fraternally Yours,
W∴M∴ Herman E. Williams, Jr.
